Responsibilities
- Specialist for plant safety in process engineering projects
- Valuable support in safety consulting for customers in the area of plant safety
- Preparation of risk analyses, hazard assessments, HAZOP studies, etc., as well as support in conducting, moderating and documenting the necessary workshops
- Preparation of explosion protection concepts, EX zone plans and explosion protection documents
- Responsible assessment of hazards from overpressure as well as calculation and design of blow-down systems
- Support in dealing with EHS topics in plant planning, especially in authority engineering
- Assistance with internal instructions, guidelines and templates
- In this responsible position, you will be an essential part of the successful realisation of large-scale projects as a specialist for plant safety in process engineering projects.
Requirements
- You have a technical education: Diploma studies TU/FH, specialising in process engineering / chemical engineering / food technology / pharmaceutical technology or mechanical engineering.
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in process engineering, either in the planning or operation of production plants.
- You have in-depth knowledge in the field of safety engineering, starting from theoretical principles and methodologies, as well as their implementation
- You have a good knowledge of the legal framework and the state of the art
- You have good communication skills, are used to working independently and for customers, both on your own and in project teams, and take on a high degree of personal responsibility.
- You can organise meetings and support the moderation and decision-making process in a team.
- Willingness to travel in the D/A/CH region
