The Mission

Your mission as Business Line Manager is to achieve profitable growth, by developing new, competitive and innovative product offers and sales concepts with the focus on creating value for our customers. You are responsible for the Marketing and Sales Strategy as well as the business development and Sales Management for the Industrial Air Division in the BeLux market. It is your responsibility, together with your team, to make sure that the targets are met.


The role

  • Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet responsibility
  • Development and implementation of the business plan in accordance with the strategy & guidelines defined
  • Drive strategic market developments for all sales channels (direct and indirect) to increase market share and profitability
  • Lead the AII team to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction adapting our organization and our processes to the needs of the customers
  • Monitor the KPIs development, resulting in corrective/preventive actions
  • To develop a strong "People-Care" environment with Training and Development of Personnel.
  • Work closely together with the Business Line Managers (CTS & AIF) to ensure that the Business Area has a homogeneous approach to the market with an aim to achieve the ambitious targets
  • Liaise with PC's on technical issues and pricing (including technical and warranty reporting)
  • Ensure that "The Way We Do Things" & "Code of Conduct" is followed
  • To support the Group's vision of "First in mind - First in choice®" and promote the core values
  • Champion and grow a "Safety First" mindset


Profile

You are a leader and team player with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments. You have a strong drive and engagement, act proactive, self-motivated and you focus on result. You are always looking for better ways to do things and have a strong Customer focus.


  • Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in a Customer Centre is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of B2B
  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Ability to promote processes improvement in all areas
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Key account management
  • Dealer Management
  • Keen interest and hands-on user experience with IT systems. (Knowledge of SAP is a plus)
  • Fluent in Dutch, good working knowledge of French and English required
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to create fair relations with the others BLs and Product Company
  • Pro-active
  • Strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and a drive for success
  • Business oriented and able to communicate effectively with Customers at all levels
