Job Description


Purpose of the Post/Responsibilities of the department

The department “Global Supply Risk & Governance Management” is responsible for identifying, addressing and managing the risks within the supply chain upstream for the Umdasch group. We are looking for motivated and broadly interested talents who are curious to support the Global Supply Risk and Governance Manager in setting up suitable processes in this wide and dynamic field of responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Supply Risk and Governance Manager in establishing an appropriate Supply Risk Management by ensuring that potential risks are identified for all purchasing processes Source to Pay.
  • Ensuring that appropriate measures are defined and implemented.
  • Supporting the implementation and development of an Internal Control System in Procurement.
  • Ongoing monitoring of legislative changes (eg ESG related) which could be relevant for Procurement regarding the need to establish new processes or adapt existing ones.
  • Collaboration with various internal stakeholders for assessment, monitoring and implementation of processes and policies

Qualifications
  • At least Bachelor’s degree required (preferrably in business administration, law and economics, risk management)
  • 3 years+ experience (preferrable in Internal/External Audit, Procurement, Risk Management or other consulting experience)
  • IT knowledge (SAP, Ariba) and experience in Project Management is a plus
  • Affinity for legal topics and for defining processes from scratch
  • Fluent German and English
  • Independent and conscientious way of working, high level of self-motivation
  • Good sense of internal group/company processes and business interrelationships
  • Able to work under pressure and on more than 2 topic/projects at the same time

You will be part of the Global Procurement Organization.

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 42.933,10 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
