We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny/Mother’s Helper in West Los Angeles, 90024
A West Los Angeles family is seeking a part time nanny/mother’s helper for their 2.5 year old girl and 2 month old boy to start as soon as possible. A great candidate will be comfortable with mom being around full time, have knowledge with age appropriate milestones for baby, and be compassionate about what they do. The 2 month boy enjoys being held during wake and sleep hours and the 2.5 year old girl has a lot of energy and enjoys playing and engaging in various fun and educational activities. Care is primarily needed for the 2 month boy Monday-Friday, 11am-4pm and occasional Saturdays from 11am-4pm, with care needed for the 2.5 year old girl occasionally during these time frames too.
- Start date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11am-4pm, occasional Saturdays 11am-4pm, flexible
- End date/Length of Position: Long term, minimum 1 year
- Compensation: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience
* Guaranteed 25 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bottle feeding; including proper burping and keeping child sat upright following feedings
- Diaper changing
- Focusing on age appropriate (monthly) milestones with baby; crawling, sitting up, cognitive development, etc.
- Assist with getting children on a schedule
- Healthy meal/snack prep for children
- Laundry for baby
- Light housekeeping/tidying children's spaces
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of infant care experience as a nanny with children under the age of 1 year
- Must have previous experience with infant food prep such as purées and/or baby led weaning
- Must be UTD on infant CPR or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be fully vaccinated + boosted against COVID-19
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must have Early Childhood Education credentials/degree
- Bilingual is a plus
- Non smoker
